Dwjuan F. Fox – Manager / Member – Director of Operations
Director of Operations: Dwjuan has over 26 years of experience managing multimillion dollar projects as a Producer / Line Producer of feature films and a former Army Officer in charge of companywide and regional operations and logistics. As a Line Producer, Dwjuan is directly responsible for creating budgets, negotiating union and guild contracts, staffing and daily operations for film operations. He has successfully produced movies with budgets ranging from $350,000 to $20,000,000. Dwjuan also owns Decipher Entertainment, Inc, a motion picture and commercial production company that has produced national commercial campaigns for companies like Time Warner Media, Energizer Batteries, Lego, and Post Consumer Brands. Dwjuan took a hiatus from his motion picture career at the start of the Bosnian / Kosovo conflict and joined the US Army. After quickly gaining the rank of Sergeant, Dwjuan transitioned to the officer core and served as a Tank Commander and Platoon Leader in a forward deployed armored battalion in the Republic of Korea. Dwjuan completed his military commission in a special unit created to train and track three brigades of deploying soldiers to Operation Iraqi Freedom. While in the 7th ID IRT, despite having no prior linguistics experience, Dwjuan was tasked with developing the IRTs Standard Arabic Language and Culture Program, to teach deploying soldiers Arabic. The program was eventually duplicated for deploying soldiers nationwide. Dwjuan went on to obtain his master’s degree in producing from the prestigious American Film Institute in Los Angeles California. Next to his days in the army defending the country, Dwjuan is proud of producing the documentary feature, The Rescuers. The Rescuers was nominated for a 2012 Image Award. The documentary gave Dwjuan an opportunity to combine his film and military training by maneuvering up to 20 personnel, and equipment, by train, plane and automobile through thirteen different countries and five currencies over a combined six months of filming, all the while creating a project with substantial significance to the past and future state of humanity. He now expects his most notable work yet, to be the formation and growth of Madison House, in which he can address yet another going concern in society. He believes all people should have the right and opportunity to grow old gracefully, respectfully, healthy and in the care of those that understand the hard work and sacrifice they have put into life
Jennifer Leona Fox – Member – Director of Health and Nutrition
Leona conducts mostly virtual appointments to cater to her clients’ schedules and also offers some in-person appointments in Santa Monica, CA. Her unique skill set has made her the preferred nutritionist in Los Angeles for local residents, families, as well as medical professionals in Southern California who seek her distinct and thoughtful food-as-medicine approach for themselves and their patients. Leona places great value on traditional modalities that prioritize holistic care, seamlessly integrating this approach with state-of-the-art functional and nutritional lab testing to provide a truly personalized approach. Her observations have shown that even the simplest adjustments to one’s diet and lifestyle can yield significant and positive transformations, affecting both physical and mental well-being, and ultimately enhancing all aspects of life. Leona is a seasoned family practitioner and a trained Integrative Functional Nutritionist. She obtained her certification in Nutritional Medicine and Herbal Medicine from The American University of Complementary Medicine, located in Los Angeles. During her studies, she had the privilege of learning under the guidance of Diana Noland, MPH, RD, CCN, DIFM, an esteemed faculty member of the Institute for Functional Medicine. Additionally, Leona has spent over a decade immersed in the field of Functional Medicine, undertaking comprehensive training through The Institute of Functional Medicine and the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine. She holds additional certifications in functional endocrinology and functional lab analysis from the University of Bridgeport, taught by Dr. Datis Kharrazian of the Kharrazian Institute. Moreover, Leona is a Certified Functional Medicine Coach, receiving her training and certification from The Functional Medicine Coaching Academy in collaboration with The Institute of Functional Medicine. In addition to her extensive credentials, Leona is also certified in Culinary Nutrition by The Academy of Culinary Nutrition and holds a certification in Nutrigenomic Medicine from Dietitians of Canada. She is a certified Personal Trainer recognized by the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America. Furthermore, Leona is a DONA International-certified Birth Doula and a certified First Line Therapy practitioner, specializing in personalized lifestyle medicine through Metagenetics. Continuously captivated by the transformative power of food and the human body’s innate ability to heal, Leona is dedicated to keeping up to date with the latest advancements in nutrition science, functional medicine, as well as developments in nutrigenomics, fertility, and regenerative agriculture. Leona enjoys spending her time creating food-as-medicine in her own kitchen! On the weekends Leona can often be spotted with her family at the local farmers markets or tending to her own garden. Leona helps her clients cut through the many conflicting trends and get to the heart of what is key for their own health, in a practical, positive, and supportive space. Like her husband, Leona believes in a person’s right to age well. She has spent her entire life tending to people’s health and whole human needs. Madison House will facilitate yet another opportunity for Leona to empower and enrich people’s lives.
Jonnie Mae Fox – Member – Director of Outreach, Social Service and Engagement
Jonnie Mae has dedicated over 58 years of her life to the welfare and service of others. She is a graduate of Wayne State University who continued her education beyond college and retirement by obtaining a real- estate license, studying Mandarin Chinese and is currently learning brail. Jonnie Mae started her carrier as a case worker in the Michigan Department of Social Services and after forty years retired as a reginal department head. While at the Department of Social Services, Jonnie Mae received a commendation from President Lindon Johnson for her management of the MDRC Center in Detroit as part of his war on poverty program. After retirement Jonnie Mae went on to become a charter member of Windows with Wisdom, designed to help women who had recently lost their spouses deal with grief and changes in resources. Jonnie Mae also was a founding member of The Association for the Study of Black Life and History and the diversity program at Cranbrook Highschool. Johnnie Mae has been an organizer and planner for many social events for Senator Martha Scott. She was a frequent volunteer at her local voting precinct and a drama instructor at her church. Mrs. Fox lost her sight several years after retirement, and instead of letting it hold her back, she quickly started working with the Michigan Federation for the Blind and the Disability Network to help advocate for additional services and resources to help people with visual impairment and disabilities able to live more independent lives. The team will work to achieve their aim for Madison house, to make sure that aging citizens can do so with care, respect and in a safe and healthy environment.
